—Kamilla[1] |
Though she once would have described herself as having “no known weaknesses”, nowadays TUSC Captain Kamilla Selesnick has been forced to amend that statement: she has a weakness, and it’s paperwork.[2] Originally a beat cop in Zhellomvend, she was recruited personally by TUSC President Werner Sharpe when he was signed in. Though she seems poor Union material at first glance, with a crass, tactless way of speaking and a worrying obsession with firearms, she’s not only managed to hold a position in Union, but has slowly made her way through the ranks to leadership, something that astonishes even Kamilla herself. The most common theory for her strange career path is one that reflects the less savory side of President Sharpe’s reputation: sometimes, you need someone in charge who gets results, regardless of how they get them.

- ↑ "That said..." Her gaze falls to the paperwork that has become even more scattered around the room by the various gestures of their conversation, and she sighs. "Somewhere along the line the promotions got away from me, and here I am now, working the desk. This wasn't the career I signed up for. But someone's gotta do it, I guess." (Shore Leave 2, 7/1/2024)
